Today on The Sugar Show Shirley talks about three news articles about sweeteners she’s come across, namely people suing over false advertising of some of the products making them look as if they contained a lot of stevia. In the newsletter, www.foodnavigator-usa.com reports of high cost law suites with no payouts to anyone, as no one was damaged.

Can products with the suffix -via be sold without people thinking they contain the high intensity sweetener stevia? It’s such a big draw that even Coke and Pepsi are in on it. Coke Life and Pepsi Natural are using stevia and even beet sugar to avoid the problems their customers have with sucrose. Listen in to what’s happening in the food industry.
