What science says about airway and ADHD

Airway and ADHD go together more than you’d think, unless you really think about it. Shirley brings some diverse studies to light.  We may be missing a tree branch for sure.

Many studies are proving that children who don’t breathe well at night are showing symptoms of ADHD and medicated, but they’re really starving for oxygen all night, or have to wake up many times a night to get some air so they’re really just tired!

Tune in and share this episode with your friends. At a recent DH Study Club a member with a Masters in Childhood development and special needs was floored! This was not addressed in any of her course work. Let’s let our teachers know that the naughty kids may have a sleeping disorder. They should be evaluated by a dentist. Dentists and dental hygienists need to get on the stick and make recommendations too. Fixing this problem is easy once you get to the core of the issue.
