Lory Laughter is a practicing and teaching dental hygienist from California who has put her time and money where it counts. She’s started the Dental Hygienists’ Alliance a facebook group that puts out press releases to alert the public to the idea that dental hygienists are a missing link to healthcare.

They talk about how career websites continually list Dental Hygiene as a job you can get without college and make a lot of money. TV shows that portray dental hygienists as bimbos. Do they need men in order to change their image?
